Focus More, use Focus Booster

If you have focus problems then you are not alone, many people do as well- I’m one of them- and since i’m a tech geek I looked around for an app to solve this issue.  I found Focus Booster. It is a very simple application that lets you focus more on one thing, one thing at a time, small intervals and small breaks. This technique called the promodoro technique, where you break down your work into 25-minutes intervals ( could be more or less if you want ), There are five basic steps to work with this technique :

  • decide on the task to be done
  • set the pomodoro (timer) to 25 minutes ( less or more )
  • work on the task until the timer rings; record the task status
  • take a short break (5 minutes)
  • every four “pomodoros” take a longer break (15-20 minutes)

I just love how it looks and how it functions. it’s simple and looks really nice. It has three different versions, Adobe Air Installer, Native Installer and the web version. I personally use the Adobe Air version, it’s lite weight. The application has two looks one is the long (maximized) look and the other is the more compressed (minimized) look.

In windows when you minimize it, it hides in the notification area tray, so for windows 7 users I would recommend Allowing it to be shown all the time ( not just for notifications ) to be able to see it all the time.

DOWNLOAD FOCUS BOOST

That’s it,

I hope you find this useful and it boosts up your focus and productivity, share any successful experiments with this application if you tried it.
